Important Information
The Mina apartment is fully air-conditioned and stylishly furnished with completely new (2006) amenities and fittings.
It will accommodate and sleep six adults with ease.
There are three full size bedrooms and two shower rooms and a large living area with an open plan, fully fitted kitchen.
There is a built-in barbecue on the penthouse sun terrace.
Booking Terms and Conditions
Reservations
Provisional reservations may be made free of charge and the Mina apartment reserved in your name for a period of 5 days to enable you to book flights and make other travel arrangements.
We will send you by email, fax or telephone a confirmation that the apartment has been reserved in your name and confirmation of the booking details, including date of arrival and departure.
We ask you to confirm by email, fax or telephone that you wish to proceed with your booking by 12 noon on the fifth day after you make your provisional reservation. We will then send you confirmation of your booking.
If you do not confirm that you wish to proceed within the specified time we reserve the right to offer the apartment to other interested parties.
Deposit
A £250 non-refundable deposit will secure your booking.
Payment of balance
The balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.
Payment may be made by cheque or bank transfer.
If payment is not received we reserve the right to re-offer the dates to other interested parties.
Late Bookings
For bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to departure the full payment is required at time of booking.
Cancellation
In the event that you have to cancel the holiday for any reason No refunds will be paid.
You are advised to obtain full holiday insurance to cover your costs should your circumstances change.
In the unlikely event that the Mina apartment cannot be made available to you through circumstances beyond our control (ie earthquake, fire or other catastrophic event) we will notify you immediately and offer a full refund in respect of the payment received for the apartment and deposit.
Damage Deposit
A damage deposit of £250 will be required to cover any breakages or damage caused. This will be returned in full within 2 weeks of your return provided no damage or breakages have been incurred.
We accept that it is inevitable that from time to time accidents will happen and any breakages will be replaced at cost price and the balance returned to you. Please advise our on site managing agent of any breakages or damage prior to departure in order that these items may be replaced prior to the next guests arriving.
Replacement keys or keys not returned to reception at time of departure will be charged at £25 per key.
Flights, Transfers & Car Hire
The cost of flights is not included in the price of the Mina apartment. You must make your own flight reservations and arrangements.

The cost of transfers from the airport to Kalkan is not included in the price. We can arrange for a driver from a reliable Kalkan based taxi company to meet your party at the airport and deliver you to the Mina apartment and return you to the airport on the day of departure, in either a private air-conditioned car or mini bus. You are responsible for payment direct to the Taxi company in pounds sterling, Turkish Lira, Euros, US Dollars or by major credit card at the time of your arrival in Kalkan.
Cleaning and Linen Change
Fresh bed linen and towels will be provided twice a week (on the day of your arrival, and midway through the week). There is a daily on site maid service for the emptying of bins and the apartment will be cleaned twice a week.
Suitability
The Mina apartment is ideal for couples, friends, families and children. Children must however be supervised at all times around the pool areas. The apartment is not suitable for very small children as there are no stair gates.
No pets or animals of any kind are permitted.
Strictly No Smoking permitted within apartment. The damage deposit will be forfeited if reports of smoking within the apartment are received from our local representatives.
Not suitable for guests with walking difficulties or the infirm.
What is included
Mina is a self-catering apartment fully equipped and furnished for all your holiday needs.
The price includes the services of the Emir staff, together with the cost of air-conditioning, electricity and gas.
Guests have free use of the two Emir private swimming pools, sun beds and sunshades.
A small welcome pack of essentials including bread, jam, water, milk and fruit will be provided on your arrival. The local shops stay open until late and are only a few minutes walk from the apartment. If you are arriving late in the evening or early morning and require additional provisions to be purchased for you prior to your arrival including for example wine and beer, coffee and tea etc. please let us know and this can be arranged for an additional cost.
There is a daily Maid service for the emptying of bins and the apartment will be fully cleaned on the day of arrival and midway through the week.
The apartment is fully equipped for your holiday as described above under the heading accommodation but also includes the following items:

Two reclining sun beds are provided on the penthouse terrace together with tables and chairs.

Wireless Internet signal is available in the Mina apartment. (Bring your own laptop).

Arrival and departure times
The apartment will be available for you from 2 pm on the day of your arrival or earlier depending on the departure time of previous guests. Please let us know your fight details and anticipated arrival times. The keys will be handed to you by the resident English speaking receptionist and you will be shown to the apartment by the security staff.
Guests are required to check out of the apartment by mid-day on the date of departure or later depending on arrival time of next guests.
Luggage may be left in the reception area and there are toilets and shower facilities available by the pool should you wish to swim in the afternoon.

Aytac the English speaking manager of the Emir apartments and her husband Turgay, together with the on site team of maids and gardeners, are pleased to welcome our guests and assist you in any way they can, in order to make your stay in Mina and Kalkan an enjoyable one.
Our managing agent is Aslan Uzun who owns the Asfiya Hotel in Kalkan and his very helpful English speaking assistant Deniz can generally provide any additional services and advice you may require.
