Airports

Flights from the UK to Dalaman airport Turkey take approximately 4 hours.

Dalaman (airport code DLM) is the closest airport to Kalkan.  A new international terminal building is now open. 

The journey time from Dalaman to Kalkan is approximately 1hour 45 minutes.

Antalya (airport code AYT) is approximately 3 hours by car.

Visa

On arrival at Dalaman you will be required to purchase a temporary 90 day visa for each member of your party at a cost of £10 each.  The Visa booth is located to the right of the passport control.  Only £10 notes are acceptable for UK passport holders. No credit cards

Passports

Please note that your passport must have a minimum of six months before it expires in order for you to be admitted to Turkey. Please check with the Turkish tourist office or Foreign office for up to date details.

Airport Transfers

Transfers to and from Kalkan direct to the Emir apartments can be arranged for you through ENES rent a car.

A driver will meet you at Dalaman or Antalya airport and drive you to the Mina apartment either by private air-conditioned taxi or mini bus depending on the numbers travelling in your party.

The cost from Dalaman is approximately £60 each way for a private taxi with up to three people and £75 each way for a mini bus for a party of up to 7.  Taxi and Mini bus transfers are payable directly by you to the taxi company.  They accept payment in Pounds Sterling, Turkish Lira or major Credit Cards.  

Local Taxi  

There is a very good local taxi service located in the old town part of the village.  Only five minutes down hill walk from Mina.

If you are hiring a car you may find the link below with directions helpful.  Please note that a new road is now open for the last 5 kilometers of the journey leading directly into Kalkan which will shorten your journey time to approximately 90 minutes.
